The Profiles Dashboard helps users identify funds of interest based on in-depth fund profiles provided
in the monthly MFO commentary.
This tool first appeared in August 2013, as described in
Dashboard of Profiled Funds.
All funds profiled are grouped by broad investment Type (BD - Bond,
ALT - Alternative, MA - Mixed Asset, EQ - Equity). Within each Type, funds
are listed initially by risk (aka volatility): lowest risk on top, highest risk on bottom.
Life-time annualized returns (APR) are compared against cash (3-mo TBill), aggregate US bonds,
S&P 500, ETF benchmarks, and category peers. Returns that beat are highlighted. Great Owl
GO funds are also
highlighted. "Enhanced Strategy" infers leverage or non-traditional holdings. Names are
hyperlinked to original Fund Profiles. Symbols are hyperlinked to current Risk Profiles.
Funds must be at least three months old to be included.
